Head Girl, Emilia
My name is Emilia and I am proud to have been chosen as this year’s Head Girl at Jersey College Prep. I joined JCP in the summer term of Year 1 and I remember vividly how welcoming all of the pupils and staff were to me. By the end of my first day, I had made a group of friends and my kind teacher made me feel like I belonged and inspired me to work as hard as possible. To me, this sums up the JCP values: Aspire, Inquire, Excel and Belong. These are values which I try hard to exemplify and I feel very privileged to have opportunity to do this in my role as Head Girl.To tell you a little bit about myself, I have two brothers, one in Year 2 at JCP and one in Year 4 at VCP. My hobbies include playing the cello and piano, singing, reading, writing, knitting, ballet, cycling and playing football. I also speak French and enjoy visiting the French side of my family in my summer holidays. I would love to be an author when I grow up, as I like to express myself in stories and poems and am passionate about writing. At JCP, my House is Grandin and I like to cheer on my House at every opportunity, including House Music and Sports Day.I feel really fortunate to have attended JCP and am sad that this will be my last year at the school- I will miss so much about it. However, I am really looking forward to the year ahead and will endeavour to be a worthy role model for the younger children at the school and to make the teachers and my family proud of me.
